We went 3-0 yesterday on our twitter polls, for the 3rd time in the last 6. We are now 12-5 in our last 6 polls (including a terrible 0-3 Saturday). Follow our twitter for the daily polls where I send out heaters: https://twitter.com/worstbets
In addition to yesterday's twitter poll, we also went 2-0 in our blog bets! Ohio State won by 46, easily covering the 33 point spread, and then Wisconsin muscled in out against Northwestern to cover the 2 point spread! A great day! We are looking to continue the hot streak today with three big matchups!
The first game of the day is between #13 LSU (15-2) at Alabama (11-6). Alabama is a 4 point favorite. Again, I'm onto something here as Vegas is loving the home court advantage. I've said it every week and will continue to say it: home court doesn't play as much of a factor as you want to believe. LSU is coming off a bad beat against Arkansas, but they have played really well the past couple weeks. Alabama is on a 3 game losing streak, losing to a not so great Miss St and Mizzou. I think Alabama will try to get back on the right path tonight, but I have a really hard time seeing them beating a talented LSU team by more than 4 points. I have a close game here, but see LSU +4 as the best bet!
Next we venture into Big East country as Marquette (12-6) travels to #11 Villanova (13-4). Nova is a 13.5 point favorite, which I believe is way too much, and the over/under is set at 138.5. I am not going to touch the spread, because as much as I love Marquette +13.5, I can see Nova blowing them out. I'm more interested in the o138.5! Marq is scoring 75 a game and allowing 70 ppg, whereas Villanova is scoring 73 and allowing just 60 points. I am confident that Villanova's offense will thrive against a poor Marquette defense, and I think Marquette will keep it interesting. I see this as a much closer game than expected where balls go through nets!
The final game of the evening is #12 Kentucky (14-3) at Texas A&M (15-2). A&M is red hot and are still a 7.5 point underdog, primarily because Kentucky's offense has finally started clicking. They scored 107 in their last game, and are averaging 84 PPG. Likewise, A&M is scoring 76 PPG and should be a top 15 ranked team! This game is going to be close, and its going to be high scoring, plain and simple. Don't overthink it, o142.5!
We are going to stay hot tonight and don't miss out on these bets! As always, Good Luck and Good Scores, Godspeed!
