Wednesday Night Football

Another Wednesday night game! This time the Ragin Cajuns from Louisianna are traveling to the West Virginia to take on the Thundering Herd. Now, if you faded every single one of my college football bets, you would be a very rich man. It is evident to me that I have a lot of work to do in this league, but I promise I will get better! I do however, like this play tonight, and I have a substantial bet on this contest. Let's dive in.

Louisianna (2-3) travels to Marshall (3-2) in a midweek Sun Belt matchup. Marshall is a 10.5-point favorite and the over/under is set at 46.5.

Louisianna sits in dead last in the Sun Belt conference with an 0-2 record. The Cajuns used to dominate this conference and found themselves ranked in the top 25 on multiple occasions the last few years. They have gotten off to a rough start this year and have lost their last 3 games. Marshall on the other hand, made national headlines when they beat Notre Dame in week 2. Since then, they lost in OT to BGSU, and then lost their one conference game to Troy.

Don't let the Cajuns recent losses persuade you from betting against them. They are still the team that Paddington Picks says to never bet against! Marshall has gotten a lot of hype after they upset the Fighting Irish, but they haven't really done anything since that win, which has probably cost a lot of people a lot of money.

The Bet:

UL +10.5

10.5 points is simply too much for Marshall. Vegas is trying to get you to read the records and remember Marshall's victory over ND to persuade you into this gross line. In fact, I believe the Cajuns might win this game, which could cause a lot of Marshall ML parlays to die very quickly.

I really really like this play tonight, and hope you tail me. If not, then I hope you at least enjoy the game as we have to remember that we have midweek football!!!

As always, Godspeed, Good Luck, Good Scores, and never bet against the Ragin' Cajuns!
