MNF Bets

Happy Halloween everyone! No better way to celebrate the holiday than to win some money on Monday Night Football. We are getting a little spoiled with a couple good primetime matchups in a row! Tonight's game is a divisional matchup between the Cleveland Browns and the Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals are currently a 3-point favorite on the road, and the over/under is set at 45.

Preview:

Cincinnati (4-3) is sitting in second place in the AFC North one game behind the Ravens. With a win tonight, the Bengals would be in a tie with the Ravens for first in the Division. The Bengals will be playing tonight without their best playmaker, Ja'Marr Chase. Chase suffered a hip injury last week that will keep him out for at least tonight's game. Joe Burrow and the Bengals will have to look for others to carry the team with Chase's absence. Good thing that Cincinnati's wide receiver core is extremely deep, and they have a respectable run game to go along with it.

The Browns have moved into what some would call a must win situation. Sitting at just 2-5 and losing their last 4 games in a row, Cleveland needs to get in the win column to even think about making the playoffs. Cleveland has struggled to close out games, and many of their losses where within 1 score. Nick Chubb is one of the few players who are contributing to the Browns scarce success, and his play tonight will likely decide Cleveland's fate.

The Bets:

Thanks to MGM for giving me a deposit match on this beautiful Monday! I have used this match money on one big player prop, and then I have added a couple more smaller wagers on a couple more plays.

The deposit match all went on Jacoby Brissett o218.5 passing yards. Now beware, this is most likely a trap because this line has hit in the last 6 games, is below Brissett's season average, and just looks fishy. Since it was a deposit match, I don't feel as worried about it because it is free money, but it just seems too good to not be true.

Brissett averages 226 yards per game passing, and as said before, he has gone over 220 yards the last 6 games. The only game Brissett went under, was in week one against the Panthers when he had 147 passing yards. Now Brissett is not going to blow this bet out of the water. He hasn't even recorded a game over 270 yards, but I do think he is going to win this bet and male us sweat it out.

Next, I have one anytime TD scorer. I have taken Donovan Peoples-Jones to Score a TD for +280. DPJ is the Browns third leading receiver and has yet to score a TD on the season. However, with Njoku out (Cleveland's second leading receiver), I am banking on DPJ to get some chances at the endzone. He has been targeted over 5 times in the last four games, so hoping he can get his first TD on the season tonight.

My final two bets are game lines. I have taken the over of 45 as well as the Browns +3. Now quite honestly, I am not a huge fan of either, but since I fell for one trap already, I'm not going to fall for more. Browns +3 is a very fishy line. Bengals are the better team, and despite Chase being out, I still think they should at least be a 4–5-point favorite. However, that's the trap. We will be riding the Browns! As for the over, everyone will tell you that primetime divisional games go under at a ridiculous rate. They may be true. You could tell me right now that you saw into the future and the final was 13-3, I'd still take the over. I don't care. I already made up my mind.

That is all I have. Enjoy the holiday, eat some candy, win some bets, and Godspeed!
