Week 0 of College Football kicks off in Ireland as the 13th ranked Fighting Irish take on the Navy Midshipmen.
Notre Dame starts it's College Football Playoff hopes with 6th year transfer QB, Sam Hartman, leading a young and eager Notre Dame team. Navy held it's ground last year, almost pulling off the upset against the Irish, but fell just short losing 35-32. Navy, with a couple changes on the coaching staff, will look to finish the job this time around.

Game Analysis, Predictions, and Best Bets:
Twenty-one points is a lot for a team that squeaked by last season, and almost everyone I have seen is taking Navy to cover that spread. I agree it is a lot, but this new look Notre Dame team is getting me excited.
I loved Sam Hartman at Wake Forest, and I'm excited to see what he can do for a Notre Dame team that showed signs of greatness last year, but lacked consistency.
The sharp play in this game is to take Notre Dame -21, and that is where I would lead on the spread. However, there is a bet I like even more in this game.
The over/under is set at a seemingly low 49.5. The travel across the pond, and the fact one of the teams is a military academy most likely is the reason for such a low line for a Notre Dame team that averaged 31.8 PPG.
Even with the doubts, and the fact that everything is pointing toward the under, I think there is real value in the over here. Notre Dame can easily put up 49 points alone in this game, and Navy will be more efficient on offense this year than last.

It is so important to line shop when betting football. There is definitely a book out there that is offering 20.5 so make sure you do your due diligence! I like using the Pikkit app, which compares all major sportsbook odds and shows you where the best value is!
